Microsoft is giving its English-speaking customers a jump on the software before the rest of the world; Dynamics CRM 3.0 went gold earlier this week.

Microsoft is moving up the time line for its release of Dynamics CRM 3.0 for English-speaking users to early December, officials said Thursday.

The launch of the International English version of the CRM software means that, for some folks anyways, they won't have to wait until sometime in the first quarter of 2006 to get their copy.

General availability of Dynamics CRM 3.0 in the other 22 languages, officials said, is still expected to roll out in February-March 2006.

Dynamics CRM 3.0 was released to manufacturing (RTM) Oct. 31st.

Microsoft gave its partners a sneak peek of the technology Oct. 28, providing them a copy of beta-version copy of the software.

The CRM offering is the first of several products expected to ship out under the Dynamics line of software. Currently known under the brand name of Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS), the other software is expected to launch throughout 2006.

The MBS line is made up of software products acquired by Microsoft over the years -- Axapta, Navision, Great Plains and Solomon -- targeted at the small- to medium-sized business (SMB) industry.

The name change to Dynamics is the first step in the eventual morphing of the separate software components into one integrated business management suite.

Dynamics CRM will be part of the integrated suite, but is the only one of the suite to be sold as a standalone product as well.
