Developed by PeopleSoft Inc. and implemented by KPMG Consulting, the new PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for Communications will provide a billing integration solution for the communications industry.

PeopleSoft's expertise in providing CRM abilities to e-business coupled with KPMG Consulting's global network has led to a solution that gives communications service providers an expansive view into their most vital IT network -- the Operations Support Systems/Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS). PeopleSoft and KPMG Consulting are integrating PeopleSoft CRM with the disparate OSS/BSS, allowing managers to easily view enterprise-wide information from a variety of perspectives.

"By combining PeopleSoft CRM for Communications with KPMG Consulting expertise, businesses quickly gain the kind of insight into their businesses that put them leagues ahead of their competitors."

PeopleSoft CRM for Communications provides increased functionality to wireline, wireless and broadband segments, as well as quick connectivity to information from OSS/BSS applications, including services provisions, activation and inventory management. Additional improvements are made in processing the flow and accuracy of orders; accelerating the return on investment through shortened product introductions; creating greater customer satisfaction through better customer support; and simplifying the user interface resulting in reduced training costs and higher employee retention for customer support representatives.
