Introducing Oracle Small Business Suite version 7.6, the software giant adds multiple features to help customers maintain their own databases and streamline their business processes.
Enterprise software behemoth Oracle Corp. Oracle says that new features and enhancements have been made in all components of the Oracle Small Business Suite, including Sales Force Automation, Customer Support Management, Web Store and Order Management, and Accounting and Payroll.
A key addition is Custom Records, designed to allow a businesses to maintain a their own information database, which can be integrated with the a firm's core business information in such as customer and product lists.
For businesses that market and sell through partners, Oracle has added a new partner center to the Suite's existing customer and vendor centers.
The feature allows businesses to provide secure online access so that partners can log in ato make changes to their profile, create additional codes to track promotions or retrieve information about the partnership activity.
Usability features have also been added through Oracle Small Business Suite's new Home page, offering enhanced customization, a new search capability and a new mass update function, which allows users to change multiple records at the same time based on search results.
