Zendesk, a provider of cloud-based contact center software, announced a new two-way integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM that helps sales and support organizations work together to develop sales leads, convert the leads into customers and maintain good customer relationships.

The integration allows customer service agents to access Microsoft Dynamics CRM customer data from Zendesk, and vice versa. Because Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Zendesk customer views are available via both platforms, organizations can choose their preferred platform. Zendesk works with both the online and on-premises versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.

“Zendesk for Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides organizations a way to give the personalized experience customers want by allowing every employee who is in contact with a customer — from a sales rep to a support agent — to quickly see every interaction the customer has had with the company,” said Zack Urlocker, Zendesk’s COO.

According to Zendesk, its software has more than 90 integrations, including other popular CRM systems.
