Mediaplex Gets Habitat For Humanity's MOJO Going

MOJO mail-maker lends a hand to the world's largest nonprofit housing organization with its customer relationship management e-mail solution.

Mediaplex (Nasdaq: MPLX) seems to be feeling a little generous these days. The San Francisco-based digital messaging company Monday announced it is donating its MOJO e-mail solution to Habitat for Humanity in Orange County, Calif.

The agreement is a pro bono contribution to help generate awareness and create channel communication to the world's largest nonprofit housing organization's member base.

Mediaplex's proprietary MOJO technology platform can automatically configure messages in response to real-time information from a marketer's enterprise data system.

"We believe in the importance of relationship marketing and are delighted to be working with such a worthy cause such as Habitat for Humanity," says Mediaplex president and CEO Tom Vadnais. "By implementing our MOJO Mail product, we are indirectly involved in creating awareness and generating higher community involvement to help those in need."

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County is one of 1,600 Habitat affiliates in the United States. Since its 1988, Habitat for Humanity volunteers have built 85 homes in Orange County. This year, sixteen families will earn the right to purchase Habitat homes in Huntington Beach, Brea, Stanton, Costa Mesa and Santa Ana. These homes will be built with sponsor donations, donated materials, professional services and hundreds of hours of volunteer labor.

"This will help us create stronger relationships with our member base and subsequently add more donors and volunteers," says Barbara Thomas, Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, CA's Chief Executive Officer.
