The company is offering its on-demand business intelligence BI suite as a subscription service with business deployment in 72 hours.
Pentaho Corporation has announced its secure, flexible On-Demand BI Suite Subscription offers customer complete control over how the solution is deployed and managed; by Pentaho, by the customer, or by both.
As noted in the company's news release, Pentaho is also offering a '72-Hour Challenge' where businesses can provide Pentaho with their own data and Pentaho will have a full evaluation project up and running within 72 hours. This offer includes key performance indicators and relevant dashboards. The company says the solution will remain online for three weeks, during which time the customer can fully explore and expand the solution at their convenience.
"While most companies recognize that they need business intelligence to make optimal business decisions, many simply don't have the time or internal business and IT resources to commit to the new application initiative. Pentaho's On-Demand BI solutions overcome these barriers and reduce the friction associated with a BI deployment by enabling companies to choose the right level of involvement depending on their specific needs. They can develop and administer the infrastructure and the BI application themselves or have Pentaho handle any portion of the deployment or application management. Plus, Pentaho's On-Demand BI Subscription is deployed via a virtual system image which eliminates any portability issues should the customer decide to move their BI Suite to their on-premise infrastructure. With today's announcement, Pentaho is bringing the best of on-demand and full service application management together, and delivering on the promise of Agile BI."
