Easily deployed offerings in CRM, ERP, business intelligence, supply chain and other areas give businesses software and predefined services at a set price.
SAP (NYSE: SAP) is now offerings its Rapid Deployment solutions worldwide and has announced 15 new offerings as part of its quarterly release. The new offerings are designed to meet the business needs of finance, human resources (HR), IT, marketing, manufacturing, sales, service, supply chain and sustainable operations.
In contrast to SAP's more complex and lengthy implementations, the company says its Rapid Deployment solutions are for customers looking for an easy way to tackle specific business issues with software, predefined services and pre-configured content at a set price.
Customers including alfanar, Cecofar, Vitrea and Integria Healthcare have realized time-to-value in less than 12 weeks from SAP Rapid Deployment solutions.
"We expect to reap big efficiencies around call cycle planning and complaints handling," stated Damien Wilson-Brown, sales manager of Western Australia for Integria Healthcare. "This will increase our face time with customers and therefore improve sales overall."
SAP Rapid Deployment solutions were initially offered only in North America and German-speaking countries and included offerings for sales, service, marketing, business portfolio management and supplier relationship management.
In a statement SAP said it will continue to introduce affordable, fixed-scope solutions to address our customers' critical business needs.
Among the new offerings are SAP BusinessObjects Spend Performance Management and Sales and Operations Planning, Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence, Portfolio and Project Management, Master Data Management, Sybase Mobile Sales for SAP CRM, Supply Network Collaboration, Extended Warehouse Management and the SAP ERP rapid-deployment solution for the employee and manager portal.
Previous offerings included CRM rapid deployment solutions for sales, service and marketing, among other offerings.
