One of the key strengths of McAfee's Data Loss Prevention 9 is enhanced data analytics.
McAfee has introduced DLP 9, an upgrade to its Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution.
Company group product manager Howard Price says key enhancements in the new offering include integration, ease of use -- and data analytics.
"The third building block in McAfees DLP is data analytics, Price says," writes Channel Insider's Steve Wexler. "By capturing all data, users can go back and examine whats happened, and why. 'So when it comes time to build policies, rather than guessing what works, or do trials, you can run analysis against this data (and) gain the ability to anticipate risks before they hit you. Were trying to get people and systems smarter.'"
