A technology partnership has the two companies delivering RevoConnectR for JasperReports Server.
Revolution Analytics, commercial provider of software and support for the popular R statistics language, has announced a technology partnership with Business Intelligence (BI) software company, Jaspersoft. As noted in this Business Wire release, the companies are now delivering RevoConnectR for JasperReports Server, a free download on Jaspersofts community site, JasperForge.org, that allows joint customers to visualize and embed Revolution R Enterprise analytic models inside JasperReports Server for even greater operational business insight.
"Revolution Analytics builds on open source R, the worlds most powerful statistics software, to deliver predictive analytics to the enterprise. Jaspersoft provides the most flexible and cost-effective BI suite in the world, enabling better decision making through highly interactive, web-based reports, dashboards and analysis. The companies complement each other in the emerging Data Analytics Stack, and this partnership reflects both companies commitment to partner up and down the data stack to provide users with an integrated offering capable of storing, sorting, analyzing and presenting large data sets.
"RevoConnectR for JasperReports Server is a Java library interface between JasperReports Server and Revolution R Enterprises RevoDeployR, a standardized collection of web services that integrates security, APIs, scripts and libraries for R into a single server. By accessing Revolution R Enterprise from within JasperReports Server, and specifically iReport, enterprise users can build custom dashboards and reports, as well as securely integrate R data and analysis with web-based gadgets, applications and BI tools."
