MALVERN, PA--SCT, a global provider of e-business solutions, announced the newest components of the iProcess.sct solution, delivering additional e-CRM capabilities.SCT enables e-business for four industry segments: process manufacturing and distribution; education; energy, utilities and communications; and government. iProcess.sct specifically offers solutions to serve the food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, biotechnology and related process industries and provides supply chain planning, internet commerce, relationship management and supply chain execution/ERP capabilities.
The new Interactive Customer Assistance components of iProcess.sct will enable real-time customer interaction through SCT's sell-side internet commerce solution, making it possible for companies to extend internet commerce applications by providing live online communications and call-center capabilities. Functionality includes instant messaging, live chat, e-mail, and real-time "follow-me browsing," which enables a customer service representative to remotely guide a customer through the online sales process.

Additionally, the iProcess.sct Wireless solution allows customers and sales managers, brokers, and other trading partners to access SCT's Internet commerce capabilities through Internet-connected Palm(TM) devices. With iProcess.sct, wireless business activities such as placing or checking orders and stock as well as other functions can all be performed from the convenience of a PDA.
