CDC Counts on CRM Software

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is turning to retail chains’ CRM databases to assist with product recalls.

"Some chains — such as Costco — have been using their CRM databases to alert customers to recalls for years," writes StorefrontBacktalk’s Evan Schulman. "But the CDC hadn’t done so, at least not in an organized fashion."

"Now they are, according to this Associated Press story," Schulman writes.
