Corechange, a Boston maker of software to help businesses share online information with employees, customers and
suppliers, has named Charles F. Kane as president.

For the last year, Kane has served as COO and CFO. Corechange founder Ulf Arnetz was named chairman and remains CEO.

“Chuck's operational leadership is evident in the dramatic growth that we have achieved since his arrival, and his ability to build and deliver on a business plan was
instrumental in securing our most recent round of funding,” Arnetz said.

Before joining Corechange, Kane was vice president and CFO of Ardent Software for five years. When Ardent later merged with Informix, he became their
executive vice president and CFO. From 1989 to 1995, Kane held financial posts with Stratus Computer,

Kane is a CPA and holds an MBA from Babson College and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.

Arnetz said Kane was instrumental in securing the company's recent venture capital financing. The firm raised $25 million from UBS Capital Americas and other investors.
