James Reagan is the new chief technology officer at netDecide Corp., a developer of Web-based wealth management systems for the financial service industry. Reagan, whose background includes executive posts in the banking and high-tech industries, brings expertise in financial services and customer-relationship management (CRM) from his work with companies such as First Union National Bank and LivePerson Inc.

His responsibilities at netDecide will include managing the company's global strategy for developing technology.

"One of our key competitive assets is the collective strength of our management team, which includes experts not just in technology, but in financial services and professional services as well," said netDecide Chief Executive Officer Kate Armstrong. "J.R. Reagan is a key factor in that equation; his extensive experience with enterprise-class CRM system development will help us more fully address the needs of a wide variety of financial service organizations."

Reagan joins the Tysons Corner, Va.-based netDecide from the New York office of LivePerson, where he served as CTO for the eCRM services company. In addition to his duties as head of worldwide IT operations, Reagan was LivePerson's primary technology strategy spokesman with Wall Street analysts, corporate partners and the media.

Before his tenure at LivePerson, Reagan was vice president in charge of technology for First Union National Bank, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of security and risk associated with the planning, deployment and use of information technology, including e-commerce and Internet banking, bill payment, ATM and branch services, call centers, loan operations, and credit and debit cards.
