Sybase has announced plans to focus on mobile CRM in the coming year.
"Sybase already has a mobile CRM portfolio and recently added modules for giving customers SMS coupons, loyalty programs, and interactive campaigns," writes Mobilizing Biz Apps’ Evan Koblentz. "Also new is a mobile payments program — but all of this applications are just the start of a bigger trend, officials say."
"A major goal is to get beyond point solutions and to tie M-CRM into mobile payments and mobile commerce," Koblentz writes.
