The integrated solution allows users to manage e-mail subscriptions from within Zendesk.

E-mail marketing and online survey technology provider Contactology has announced an integration with on-demand helpdesk and customer support provider Zendesk.

"Thanks to this integration, first time users will be able to manage e-mail subscriptions directly from within Zendesk," writes TMCnet’s Anshu Shrivastava.

"[Users] can review the contact’s current e-mail marketing list status while reviewing a customer support ticket," Shrivastava writes. "In addition, the support personnel can add — or remove — helpdesk customers to selected e-mail distribution lists or opt-in to receive special offers or newsletters."

This is just the latest integration for Contactology — other recent announcements include CRM import drivers for Zoho CRM, Salesforce.com and SugarCRM, as well as post-click analytics integration with Google and ClickTale.

"Contactology provides marketers with the tools to strengthen communication with customers and constituents via e-mail marketing and online surveys," Shrivastava writes. "Clients can either use the Web-based application to create, send, manage and optimize e-mail campaigns to opt-in subscribers or manage campaigns from their desktop e-mail applications using our Easycast module."
