BEA Systems, Inc., a global e-business infrastructure software company, has partnered with management consulting firm Peppers and Rogers Group to produce the CRM Strategy Workshop.

The five-day executive-level workshop is designed for BEA customers and was launched to coincide with the release of BEA Campaign Manager for WebLogic®
— an integrated customer management solution. The BEA Campaign Manager helps marketing professionals create and manage highly personalized and interactive marketing initiatives through the use of a menu-based, task-driven interface. BEA’s WebLogic brand represents a variety of reliable and highly scalable solutions, poised to bring new services to market quickly.

The combination of Peppers and Rogers Group’s marketing techniques with BEA’s introduction of Campaign Manager will result in a comprehensive workshop designed to assist BEA customers in jumpstarting customer relationship management objectives. The CRM Strategy Workshop agenda concentrates on specialized treatment for different types of customers, strategic customer goals, current capabilities, and benchmarks against industry best practices. Individualized Web-based surveys will be sent to each customer’s key individuals in e-business, marketing, sales, and customer service/support prior to the workshop to ensure a custom and targeted assessment. The five-day program will culminate in an executive presentation of specific recommendations and provide a custom action plan to successfully launch CRM initiatives.

“Businesses need to establish solid one-to-one customer relationship plans in order to move their e-business beyond one-time buyers and browsers, and toward repeat buyers and loyal customers,” said Don Peppers, partner with Peppers and Rogers Group. “BEA understands that it takes more than powerful software to implement successful CRM strategies. Together, we have created a personal, one-to-one program that is designed to advance the customer’s CRM knowledge into an effective strategy for implementing their CRM initiatives.”

The customized workshop is produced at the convenience of the BEA customer, with flexibility for location, timeframes and number of participants. The price for the intensive and personalized program is expected to be in the high US $20,000 range.

San Jose, Calif.-based BEA Systems, Inc. provides e-business solutions to more than 9,400 worldwide customers, including the majority of the Fortune Global 500.

Headquartered in Norwalk, Conn., Peppers and Rogers Group has been specializing in customer-focused business issues and managing customer relationships since 1993. The firm maintains 17 offices worldwide and a global client list that includes Fortune 500 companies in the automotive, computer, consumer goods, financial services, media, telecommunications, Internet and other industries.
