KANA’s New VP Is One For The Americas

KANA (NASDAQ:KANA) Tuesday says Martin Onofrio is joining its executive team as senior vice president of the Americas.

In his new role, Onofrio will be responsible for driving all sales initiatives for North and
South America.

Onofrio has had this territory before. Prior to coming to KANA, he served as vice
president of sales for Mobileum.

“Martin has demonstrated his ability to drive sales of enterprise software and is the perfect leader to take our sales effort to the next level throughout the Americas,” says KANA COO Tom Doyle. “As KANA continues to roll out industry-leading products to the marketplace, Martin will play a critical role in expanding our customer base and dramatically increasing our overall market share.”

The Menlo Park, Calif.-based company specializes in e-business services including e-mail, Web, chat, instant message, VOIP, phone and person-to-person, as well as applications targeted for marketing, sales and service functions.
