Developed by Online One, the new OneScan iPad application allows access to NetSuite’s cloud based ERP system. As reported in this IT Wire story, the the system is being used by warehouse pickers, who wear the barcode scanner on a lanyard around their neck, scan a product and automatically update the NetSuite ERP system via the iPad.

“The oneScan iPad application, which is being formally released today, has been developed by Online One, and costs $4,000 a year for up to five users. The first user has taken a bundle, including $300 barcode scanners from Restock.com, that connect via Bluetooth with the iPad app.

“According to Donald McLean, business development director for Online One, the system is being used by warehouse pickers, who wear the barcode scanner on a lanyard around their neck, scan a product and automatically update the NetSuite ERP system via the iPad. According to the company this is faster and reduces the error rate.”
