Outtask Adds New Business as Q3 Closes

Outtask, Inc., the Alexandria, Va.-based business service provider (BSP) closed its third quarter today with the announcement of 34 new customers, helping Outtask reach a milestone with a new total of 350 active customers.

Four of the new customers add to the firm’s growing Fortune 1000 customer base. These include food and drug retailer Safeway, Inc., which will use Outtask’s OpenHire Recruiting Management solution; Virage, Inc., , a provider of enterprise-scale video content management and publishing solutions, which implemented the Outtask’s Financial Management solution, and Smith & Nephew plc. , a worldwide medical devices firm which is using Outtask’s Travel and Expense Management solution to help control costs.

Tom DePasquale, president and CEO of Outtask argues that Outtask’s solutions can help, companies reduce costs without compromising on the quality of the applications: “In today’s challenging business environment, companies continue to recognize outsourcing as a viable business alternative, and as a result we continue to see demand for our services,” he says.

Founded in 1999, Outtask provides Travel and Expense, Human Resource and Recruiting Management, Messaging, Sales, Customer Relationship and Financial Management solutions. Outtask integrates these business applications with essential services, such as web and phone based conferencing, to help companies streamline their business processes.
