SugarCRM Acquires iExtensions CRM

Earlier this week, SugarCRM announced it has acquired iExtensions CRM from iEnterprises for an undisclosed sum, reports eCRMGuide.com. Built from the ground up on IBM Lotus collaborative technologies, iExtensions CRM will add enhanced support for IBM collaboration tools inside Sugar 6.

Sugar 6 with iExtensions functionality will be initially available in the spring of 2011. As a result of the deal, iEnterprises CEO John Carini will join SugarCRM as vice president of collaboration solutions, effective immediately, EON reports.
