Viisage Lures ATG Exec

Viisage Technology , a Littleton, Mass., maker of face-recognition technology and
identification systems, has tapped the former COO of Art Technology Group for its top jobs.

Bernard Bailey take over as president and CEO next month. Chairman Denis Berube, has been serving in the position in an interim basis, since Tom Colatosti resigned in April.

“Face recognition technology will play an important role in helping to improve security both here in the United States and throughout the world, as the widely
accepted biometric of choice,” Bailey said.

At ATG, a Cambridge, Mass., maker of customer relationship management software, Bailey oversaw sales and services, corporate marketing, product management
and positioning.

Previously, Bailey spent 16 years in senior positions at IBM , where he was responsible systems
integration and other services for the public sector customers.

Bailey graduated from the United States Naval Academy. He also holds masters degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, University of Southern
California and George Washington University.
