ERP, CRM, and accounting software provider xTuple has released version 3.5 of its software, adding a wide range of functionality including cloud computing, time and expense management, and more.

"Users of the open-source PostBooks Edition of xTuple’s ERP suite now can run their xTuple database in the cloud using Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud," writes Managing Automation’s Emily-Sue Sloane.

"Version 3.5 also supports individual time and expense entry and facilitates managing and consuming tools in the manufacturing process, the company said," Sloane writes. "xTuple has added flexibility to the pricing engine to better manage effectivity dates. New user-configurable filters in the CRM module let non-programmers customize their frequently used displays, and an embedded MetaSQL editor lets users delve into custom reporting and use conditional data extensively."
