Freeborders Inc., a consulting company with an SAP practice among its products and services, last week introduced the SAP2Cloud business solutions accelerator, a solution it says can help companies migrate their SAP applications to the cloud within 90 days.

The solution includes an assessment of the current SAP environment, design of the implementation concept and actual implementation.

A news release includes a quote from Gary Robinson, IT manager for Pentax Ricoh Imaging Americas Corporation, an early adopter of the solution that moved most of its internal systems to the cloud. According to the release, a team used the SAP2Cloud accelerator to migrate Pentax’s SAP systems to the public cloud in about three months, a move Robinson said “significantly reduced our operational expenses.”

Freeborders offers other Business Solutions Accelerators, targeted tools and frameworks that it says help companies identify and pursue immediate business opportunities in specific industries and geographic markets. Two offerings are designed to help companies leverage opportunities in China, for example.
