LITTLE ROCK, AR–Acxiom Corporation, a Customer Data Integration (CDI) solutions provider,
has announced an alliance with IBM focused on providing clients of both companies with
end-to-end solutions for business intelligence, data management and customer relationship
management.

Acxiom says the alliance combines their expertise in CDI with IBM's e-business and business
intelligence solutions. IBM, they say, will enhance its strength in the market by
incorporating Acxiom's AbiliTec CDI software within its customer relationship management
(CRM) solutions provided to business customers in the U.S. and worldwide.

The firms say they will also partner to increase overall sales of Acxiom's InfoBase Data
Products. They say this will further complement IBM's offering of targeted business
intelligence solutions with data supplied by InfoBase and AbiliTec-compliant data products.
Acxiom says it will increase its offerings of IBM technology, e-server series and storage
products together with Acxiom software and the pre-packaged configurations will be made
available to Acxiom customers.

Acxiom says their CDI software, AbiliTec, is being adopted by leaders in multiple industries
to help them create a single comprehensive view of their customers across their enterprise
and that their InfoBase is the largest and most comprehensive collection of U.S. consumer,
business and telephone data available in one source for database or file enhancement,
analytical services or list rental.

“The IBM/Acxiom relationship will be of great benefit to our mutual clients,” explained
Frank Fetchet, alliance vice president for IBM's computer services industry. “The
integration of world-class AbiliTec CDI software with IBM's vast array of business
intelligence offerings provides customers with an enhanced CRM packaged solution. We're
looking forward to working with Acxiom in providing best of breed global solutions.”

Acxiom Company Leader Charles D. Morgan added, “This agreement between IBM and Acxiom is
further evidence of AbiliTec's growing presence as the global standard for CDI. As a
result of today's partnership, companies around the globe will soon be able to overcome
the enormous challenge of linking, in real time, customer information from multiple
contact points like catalogs, Web pages and traditional stores. By providing a unified
view of the customer relationship, Acxiom's AbiliTec software closes the gap between the
needs of the individual customer and the company's timely response.”

Morgan continues, “Together, IBM and Acxiom will have access to significantly more customers
and potential new clients, greater annual revenue opportunities, mutually expanded solutions
portfolios and an increased bandwidth of services resources. This partnership offers both
companies a strong opportunity to increase their presence in the growing CRM marketplace and
is undoubtedly a great opportunity for IBM, Acxiom and our customers and prospects.”
