Fomer HP Exec Named CMO At PeopleSoft
PeopleSoft (Nasdaq: PSFT), which specializes in e-business applications, Wednesday says Nanci Caldwell is joining the Pleasanton-based company as senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
Before coming to PeopleSoft, Caldwell served at Hewlett-Packard for 19 years as vice president of Marketing for HP Services.
"It took many months to find a person of Nanci’s caliber and talent to fill the company’s top Marketing post," says PeopleSoft president and CEO Craig Conway. "Nanci’s depth and breadth of experience made her the perfect candidate for the job."
Caldwell is expected to steer the company’s marketing direction and to accelerate PeopleSoft’s growth especially for the company’s recently released PeopleSoft 8, an Internet-based enterprise application.
