InsightShare, an Andover, Mass., provider of collaborative customer relationship management (CRM) software and
services, has raised $13.8 million in financing and is preparing to launch of its software product.

Backing has come from The Forum Corp., Pearson PLC and private investors. The money has been used to develop its flagship Customer Collaboration application
and complete beta testing. Released is scheduled for later this summer.

Customer Collaboration is Web-based software designed to help companies relationships with customers by allowing them to contribute to the decision-making and
idea creation processes, thereby increasing opportunities to sell services and expertise.

In an economy where expertise and intimate knowledge of the customer are the most valuable of commodities, traditional CRM has distanced companies from their
clients in favor of saving time,” said Jane Carroll Blankenship, InsightShare’s CEO. “InsightShare believes building lucrative relationships means spending time,”

InsightShare is privately held and has aligned with several strategic partners to create its product suite, including Elm Square Interactive, InfoImage and Autonomy.
