Manning Gets Pivotal Role

Pivotal Corporation has appointed Bo Manning as president and CEO of the company, replacing co-founder, Norm Francis. Francis, who will continue as chairman of the board, remarked that the new chief represents the beginning of an exciting, aggressive new era for Pivotal.

Manning brings twenty years of technology experience to the company, most recently as CEO of Roundarch — a CRM solutions company formed by Deloitte Consulting, Broadvision and WPP Group. Mannings resume include building and leading Deloitte Consulting's CRM practice; consulting directly with Fortune 1000 customers such as Charles Schwab, United Airlines, Pitney Bowes, Motorola and Sears; and forging alliances with software companies including Siebel, E.piphany,Broadvision, Vantive and Trilogy.

As Pivotal's new leader, Manning will assume responsibility for the strategic direction of the company, and oversee all aspects of Pivotal's operations including technology development, sales and marketing, and finance and administration.

Vancouver-based Pivotal provides CRM solutions to medium- and large-sized businesses such as CIBC World Markets, Goldman Sachs, HarperCollins Publishers, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi Telecom Inc., Intrawest Corporation, Kikkoman Corporation, RBC Dain Rauscher Wessels, Southern Company, United Business Media, Vivendi, and Ziff Davis Media Inc.
