Blue Martini Puts Macromedia Products on its Tab
Blue Martini Software, Inc. expects to provide new extensions to Macromedia, Inc.’s Dreamweaver® UltraDevTM 4 later this year. The extensions will enable developers to extend the Blue Martini customer relationship management (CRM) application suite by allowing developers to visually design Java Server Pages (JSP) and insert or modify objects and method calls for Blue Martini applications from within the UltraDev user interface — without having to write code.
The Blue Martini 4 eCRM application suite includes four applications: Blue Martini Marketing, Blue Martini Commerce, Blue Martini Channels and Blue Martini Service. Each application can be used individually to meet a specific business need or as a complete suite.
Included with the Blue Martini 4 eCRM application suite will be Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev 4, which produces Active Server Pages (ASP), JSPs or ColdFusion® applications. The combined solution will allow Web application builders currently using code-based tools to accelerate development visually without sacrificing control and access to source code. Additionally, Blue Martini Software will also bundle 25 licenses of Dreamweaver UltraDev, one developer license of Macromedia® GeneratorTM and one developer license of Macromedia® FlashTM with its eCRM application suite.
