Box.net Offers Servers to SugarCRM Users

Box.net has announced a new joint venture with SugarCRM that will allow users of the open source CRM solution instantly access and share Box.net’s collaboration capabilities. As mentioned in this TMC article, customers will be able to access relevant content from Box when logged in to SugarCRM via the brand new Shortcut Bar in version 6.0.

“The announcement was made today at SugarCon, SugarCRM’s annual customer and partner event.

“SugarCRM users will be able to instantly access and share product datasheets, contracts, demo videos, and other relevant content from Box when logged in to SugarCRM via the brand new Shortcut Bar in version 6.0. In addition, they will also be able to access shared workspaces within SugarCRM to collaborate with key contacts, and contractors outside SugarCRM deployment.”
