EasyAsk Suits Talbots

EasyAsk’s product helps customers search Talbot’s Web site more efficiently. For example, a shopper can type in basic information such as, “red sweater under
$100,” and get accurate results.
The offering can also be integrated to the retailer’s inventory system, to present only items that are in stock, or to highlight special offers. The company said sites
using its technology see higher conversion rates and larger orders.
EasyAsk is privately held and backed by Sigma Venture Partners and OneLiberty Ventures. Customers include Lands’ End, Coldwater Creek and wine.com by
e-Vineyard. It has also licensed its core technology to large companies such as Verizon and FedEx.
