NetSuite Looks to Lure Microsoft Partners

NetSuite, a provider of on-demand CRM, accounting, e-commerce and ERP software, announced today that a number of
Microsoft resellers have become part of the NetSuite channel.

According to NetSuite, the new reseller program offers discounts on internal
system usage, free training and higher margins for qualified Microsoft
resellers who want to add an on-demand offering.

NetSuite points to research that identifies software as a service (SaaS)as the fastest-growing
segment of the business application market. JMP Securities estimates the on-
demand application software market will grow from $1.6 billion in 2004 to $5.1
billion in 2009.

NetSuite claims that it is the only major on-demand service provider to enable
resellers and integrators to build a business around next-generation SaaS
offerings. NetSuite said that qualified Microsoft resellers receive the following:

  • 35 percent margin
  • 50 percent discount on NetSuite for internal use
  • Free sales training for up to five people

The company said its new resellers include the following:
