Social CRM Company Gets $12M Boost

Social CRM software company, InsideView aggregates information from LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and news sites for better sales prospecting. As reported on Managing Automation, the
company recently announced that it has closed a $12 million round of venture financing led by Foundation Capital.


“InsideView, founded in 2005, delivers cloud-based software that integrates with CRM systems and gives sales professionals additional insight on prospective customers. The company’s flagship product, InsideView for Sales, seeks to address two primary needs within the sales community: staying informed of the activities of sales prospects, and finding avenues to connect to those contacts. InsideView augments traditional CRM technology by tapping into real-time news and information sources across the Web as well as social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.”
